My husband and I went there for his birthday. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend.

The flavor contained in the open fire grilled prime rib cooked to rare doneness was indescribably delicious. This visit was prompted by my desire to take my wife out for dinner for her birthday. This was my first visit to Ovation Bistro but my wife had been here before and she chose it for her birthday meal. We were not disappointed and would surely return! Our waitress was Julianne and she was excellent as well.

While the service was exceptional and the establishment was quite clean, the food left something to be desired. My friend ordered the salmon, and I chose the mahi-mahi. What we didn’t realize was that the seafood on the menu is prepared to a "well done" standard. Unfortunately, we missed this detail and didn’t specify a preference for "medium well." Lesson learned.

When we got there we were greeted with a “it’s going to be at least 15 minutes before we are seated, we have a big party to attend”. I said I had a reservation and was told to wait. There were tables available, we could see them. Then there was the musty smell of the restaurant. We were not very impressed with the restaurant experience.

Host was unprofessionally dressed and never spoke to us. Took the two of us to a table for five. When we said we were just two, he turned around and put menus on a two top and walked away. NEVER said a word and never acknowledged or checked us in with our reservation. Server asked at least 3-4 times if we were ready to order. First when she came to the table, again when she brought our glasses of wine, etc. We finally ordered an appetizer to share even though we weren't quite ready. I ordered salmon and specifically asked for it to be medium rare to rare. It came horribly overcooked and dry, but that this point the server was nowhere to be found so I just ate a couple bites in the center that were barely edible. This was a business dinner, and I chose the place because of the great reviews. I kept wondering if we were in the right place. If I could give no stars I would. Two hours spent in a restaurant that I will never return to. I apologized several times to my client, who is a local, for my choice to dine here.

This was a crazy busy night and Ovation was packed. The staff all hustled and worked hard. My New York strip steak was delicious and prepared perfectly. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts too. Special shout out to Jules our server. She was friendly, thoughtful and made great recommendations.

We made a reservation for 6:00PM when we got there we were told it would be a few minutes while they waited for the previous reservation to finish. After asking a few times and being told it would only be a few minutes before we got seated, there was 8 of us , and the reservation was made 2 weeks ahead, 54 minutes later we finally got seated. Once we got seated the service and food was excellent It was very nice. There was no compensation for waiting and hour except we are sorry. I would recommend the reasturant for food and service but would advise not to trust or believed a reservation time you made

We had a 5:45 reservation. We were asked to be seated until tables could be cleared and opted to go to the bar for a drink and wait. We ordered a glass of wine and waited a good 15 minutes and when seeing that it was going to be longer, we decided to order at the bar. The lady behind the bar brought over a glass of wine for my wife and then eventually brought a second glass for myself. It took a good while to get her attention again to order dinner. My wife ordered the lamb and was very undercooked and had to be sent back. It was still not cooked to order but was edible. The person that served us I don't think ever extended a pleasantry throughout our experience that night and only said to my wife when it came back out " cut into it and make sure it's cooked okay".
