The newly reimagined Packard’s Steakhouse is both upscale and warm, featuring rich layers of finishes that focus on the same earthy tones of the famous Copperhead Golf Course that it overlooks. Named in honor of course architect, Larry Packard, this contemporary setting is open to the public, and offers an enticing new menu featuring the perfect blend of a traditional, fine steakhouse including Petit Filet Mignon, Bone-In Ribeye and Kurobuta Pork Chop, with non-traditional, innovative twists. Patio dining is also available, plus a welcoming bar that offers superb wine selections, a classic martini and unique cocktail creations. Be sure to save room for dessert! Reservations required.

Packard’s Steakhouse exceeded our expectations! Service by Theresa and Ralph was exceptional. They anticipated our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience. The other staff members were friendly and attentive as well. The beet salad appetizer was delicious and the filet mignon and steak frites entrees were cooked perfectly to temperature (medium) and the accompanying potatoes were crisp and very tasty. We will definitely come back again soon!

Food was good. Felt rushed and waitress was not engaged which affected our overall experience.

Lovely resort, wanted to like this place. Have been to many steakhouses all over the country, this one doesn’t compare favorably. Female server was snippy and curt, not at all what I expect at a place like this. The entrees were not all brought out together to our four top… also incorrect. Either we eat and are rude, or ours get cold. Drinks were fine. Mac & cheese side was simply awful… no taste, overcooked mushy noodles, no seasoning whatsoever. It tasted way more like a dairy sauce and very little cheesy taste. Kraft Mac and Cheese has much more flavor and at 39 cents a metric ton is millions of times cheaper. I don’t mind paying big bucks for a nice dish, but this wasn’t it. Skip this one. Now on to the major issue, and one that is inexcusable. I ordered the filet mignon from the menu. My wife ordered the filet and shrimp special. The server said the special was a 6oz filet. The menu filet wss 8oz. When they arrived they looked very similar in size…and more like 6oz than 8oz. However this wasn’t the serious issue. When the check arrived, the menu filet showed as $66 and the special filet/shrimp as $65. One problem with this…. The menu showed a price of $62. I remembered the price (because it’s very high for an 8oz filet even at a fancy steakhouse… most are high 40s to mid 50s) I pointed this out to the server. She tried to defend the check by saying that was the special. I clarified my question, that I was referring to the menu filet not the special. She walks off in a huff, gathers with another employee and reviews the menu, then disappears into the back. Eventually she returned with a correct check. No apology, no explanation, nothing. One has to wonder how many guests have been overcharged by $4 on this menu item, and for how long of a time? Add tax and tip, and that’s $5,50-$6 extra on every check. Also, how many OTHER items are charged incorrectly by this establishment? Inexcusable at a fast food joint…disgraceful at a fine restaurant.

Disappointing was our experience. Out of a few things on the menu including ribeye steak which is weird for a steak house. It was like we were there late; our reservation was a 6 pm. The filet we had was prepared nicely and there were some good choices to compliment the filet. Service was fair.

Wonderful meal ! We are regulars and enjoyed the new menu! The Kobe beef special was fantastic! Thank you for brining back the loaded baked potato!
