The Library’s opulent design pays homage to Liverpool’s rich trading history and is reflected in our unique cocktail menus.                                                         Very crowded, service was slow. When asked the waiter for a drink was to to wait they were to busy, my drink was poured and on the bar. The waiter was quite arrogant. Will not be making a second visit.

                                                        It's a beautiful place, lovely vibe, but the service was a bit slow, probably because people were going the bar as well as table service, and there was a wedding on, but other than that it was lovely. We didn't have food, just drinks which is why I only gave 1 star for this, as there was no option for N/A.

                                                        The building is spectacular and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely return and try the spa experience next time.

                                                        Really lovely service and good food. The chicken starter was especially great. The price is a little on the high side but worth it.

                                                        This was our second visit. Unfortunately the service was not great. We waited and waited for someone to come and take our order and eventually we went yo the bar. We ordered food and then a waiter came to ask about drinks - we explained we were having food and would need a table - we had sat in the library which is stunning - no problem he said, but a table was not provided until our food arrived and then there was lots of maneuvering getting a table sorted whilst our food was left to cool a little. We asked for salt but it never arrived. It is a fabulous place but if you allow people to eat in the library you need to provide a better service in there.

                                                        Booked a table for 2pm. No one at the podium when we arrived, stood for a few minutes being ignored by the staff, had to approach the bar, abruptly told to just sit anywhere, what was the point in booking.
