Palmer River Grille is part of the Gorman family of restaurants, which include the Sakonnet River Grille and Four Corners Grille in Tiverton, RI. Our family has been running these restaurants since 1998 and 2015, respectively. Our dinner was delicious. My steak was prepared exactly the way I like it. My Husband also said his seafood casserole was excellent. Our waitress was on top of everything could not have been more helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

The special with the swordfish, rice and veggies was not good. The swordfish was mushy and the onions and peppers were dripping in grease. I for some reason thought the swordfish was grilled on skewers over the rice with veggies.

It was a quiet Tuesday night about 530pm. We were greeted very warmly by the host. Asked if we wanted a table or booth, we choose the latter. Josie the server was very friendly and gave us extra time to view the menu. My wife had the seafood pasta and I had the swordfish and mussels. Both had great eye Appel and tasted as good as they looked.it was an excellent experience. The people who selected the staff for this restaurant should be complemented. We will definitely return.

Our server, Eshon, was attentive, polite and accurate with everything we ordered. Would love to have him as our server again. The Sole Oscar had good flavor, but the stuffing was a bit heavy and didn't have much crab . Veal Sorrentino was again, good in flavor, but the veal was a bit chewy, but still tasty. Sides - mashed potatoes and fried cauliflower - were very good and well seasoned. Drinks were balanced and generously sized. Prices were reasonable for all the drinks and entrees. Not the most extraordinary meal we've ever experienced, but a service was great and the food was good. We'll be back to try a few other dishes.
