   We went for Mother’s Day. The hostess tried to sit us inside although an outside table was reserved. I did ask for a table on the perimeter or corner of the garden if possible in my initial reservation. She only then offered us a middle table in the garden although other tables on the perimeter were free and just not cleared yet. We ended up moving and telling the wait staff since we tried to ask the hostess a few times but couldn’t get her attention when seating other customers. We sat for almost 30 minutes before we saw our server on the patio who brought us bread and butter and asked for our drink order. However, we realized after she left we had no place settings (plates or utensils to eat the bread and butter). This is something the hostess should have realized when seating us (this goes for the first table since we would have carried them with us along with the menus). Our appetizer salads came out after the table next to us and they arrived after us. This Italian restaurant ran out of penne pasta which my daughter wanted. Strange. Her rigatoni vodka looked and tasted like red sauce instead of vodka sauce but she was too hungry to send it back. My salmon was mediocre - good on the inside and hard on the ends, and the veggies were good although by this point I lost my appetite. Her mango sorbet was yummy and refreshing. Happy Mother’s Day to me.

   Friendly and attentive service. The food is consistently excellent and interesting- with uniques salads and pastas.

   A couple large parties today slowed up the service, but staff and food were great as usual. New dessert option didn't make the cut.

   We had a terrible experience here tonight.. Our waitress was terrible. Never brought us water.. never stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. We had to stand up and get our own salt and pepper. Get up again to get parm and pepper flakes. Get up again to get our own plates. Just terrible. We were there for 2 hrs and only had salad and pizza. We asked to speak to speak to a manger multiple times, to find out on the way out there was no manger there. This place has gone completely down hill in both food and service. We all left feeling sick and maybe that had to do with no one ever bringing us a drink. Not even water.

   Longtime customer since the 90s. One of my favorites. Had a not so great experience with a server a few weeks ago . Mentioned it to the manager, Andrew who said he would make it up to me next time. Indeed he did in my most recent visit by assigning a great server and giving my party complimentary dessert. Great food & even better customer service.

   Have been going to PV for many, many years Usually very solid Last night we had the fettuccini with chicken pancetta and Marsala wine sauce and it was unprofessionally prepared The sauce was very watery and not good We didn’t return it, but we should have The 4,cheese pizza was great and the veal meatballs were also good It was very surprising to have such a poorly made dish at PV The service was excellent

   The food was good. The waiter service was very slow to start. But once the waiter realized that we were there, he was very attentive. The seating was a bit cramped even though there were many tables open, and we did have reservations through Open Table.
