Panorama brings the authentic flavors of Italy to the heart of the Old City, in the Penn’s View Hotel. Panorama elevates classic Italian specialties to new heights with a carefully composed menu of varied contemporary cuisine, such as house made burrata, hand rolled pastas and passionately crafted veal, lamb, steak & seafood dishes.
Panorama was recognized with a Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Wine Bar via an award bestowed on its custom-designed winekeeper/cruvinet, which offers 120 wines on tap.
The restaurant is hyper-focused on wine, with up to 150 wines by the glass available at any time. Try one of our signature Panoramic Flights — a personal wine tasting offering a sampling of five different wines within a select group - from a selection of over 2 dozen fun and provocative themes.

It is always a treat to have dinner at Panorama. It is quiet, and the decor is very simple. the tables are not too close together, so getting in and out of you seat is easy. The menu is pretty simple, veal, chicken, fish and of course pasta. For an appetizer enjoyed the Bruschetta which includes 3 different types, tomato and onion, parsnip & Gaeta olives, and cannellini beans with whipped burrata. My favorite entree is the braciola, which is a rolled veal skirt steak, prosciutto, beef and San Marzano tomato ragu, which also comes with Ricotta gnocchi. The second entree was the fish of the day, perfectly cooked pan seared filet of salmon served with braised beets and sliced fennel. Both entrees were delicious. and the service was excellent. We weren't rushed and had amble time to enjoy our cocktails. They also have a very extensive array of wines to offer, probably on of the best in the city. It was truly a fine dining experience.

This is one of my go to restaurants and it never disappoints. I think it's an under-appreciated Philly gem! I had the veal braciole and my girlfriend had the eggplant and we were both in heaven! I love a good braciole and this was the best I ever had where the meat would literally melt in your mouth! Delicious!

Always a great restaurant experience. The food and service are always top notch and the wine list is extensive. Good place for a casual dinner or a special occasion.
