Panorama brings the authentic flavors of Italy to the heart of the Old City, in the Penn’s View Hotel. Panorama elevates classic Italian specialties to new heights with a carefully composed menu of varied contemporary cuisine, such as house made burrata, hand rolled pastas and passionately crafted veal, lamb, steak & seafood dishes.
Panorama was recognized with a Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Wine Bar via an award bestowed on its custom-designed winekeeper/cruvinet, which offers 120 wines on tap.
The restaurant is hyper-focused on wine, with up to 150 wines by the glass available at any time. Try one of our signature Panoramic Flights — a personal wine tasting offering a sampling of five different wines within a select group - from a selection of over 2 dozen fun and provocative themes.

    This review is not about the food which was excellent albeit very pricey. The service was sub par. Seemed as if there was only one server for the entire room. She was very nice but barely made an appearance at our table to mainly take our order and deliver the check. I felt sorry for her because it appeared she was the only server for the very busy room. It took a long while to receive our food. The salmon I had was very good and my sister said the Branzino was also excellent. It would be nice if they could add a vegetable or salad for the price.

    This restaurant is a hidden gem with an extensive wine list with wine flights and also full bar. The food was very good especially the meatball appetizer, calamari and antipasti. All the homemade pastas were superb. Happy hour specials were worth going early and the service was outstanding. Would definitely dine here again!

    There is a reason this restaurant has been in business for more that 30 years. The space is beautiful, the service is top notch and the food is delicious. What a great night!

    Always a good meal! Nice atmosphere although somewhat noisy. Wine flight is a good value. Already have reservations for December.

    This has become a favorite restaurant for us. Everything is great. Drinks, wine list, menu selections, service. Never disappoints.

    I wine list was outstanding. We had a 2017 Amorone which was absolute velvet! The service and food was average. Our salad came out with our main course which I don’t like. The meatball was easily shareable but there really wasn’t a lot of taste including the gravy. All that said, I would go back for the wine.

    Made a comment about a celebration and nothing was made special or noted to add to that celebration. Our waiter seemed very disinterested in our experience.

    The ambiance/decor in the wine bar room is upscale yet warm and inviting. The food was excellent and service friendly.

    Group of 5 sat in room across from the bar without much ambiance. Overall experience was good, food excellent as usual. Unfortunately service was lacking… We received salads and apps at the same time. Bread came later… Our entrees were served immediately after our salad/ apps with all the plates still on the table. Therefore there was no where to place our entrees. We actually stacked our own plates to allow room for dinner… Wait staff assistances reached across my plate to put food in front of person next to me while I was eating… Had to continually ask for water. Our waitress was very nice but NOT attentive. The food is worth revisit. We have had good service in the past
