Panorama brings the authentic flavors of Italy to the heart of the Old City, in the Penn’s View Hotel. Panorama elevates classic Italian specialties to new heights with a carefully composed menu of varied contemporary cuisine, such as house made burrata, hand rolled pastas and passionately crafted veal, lamb, steak & seafood dishes.
Panorama was recognized with a Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Wine Bar via an award bestowed on its custom-designed winekeeper/cruvinet, which offers 120 wines on tap.
The restaurant is hyper-focused on wine, with up to 150 wines by the glass available at any time. Try one of our signature Panoramic Flights — a personal wine tasting offering a sampling of five different wines within a select group - from a selection of over 2 dozen fun and provocative themes.

    Great wine list but I’d go as far as to say this was one of the worst meals Ive had out in Philly from top to bottom. The pasta sauces were not good, the entrees came out cold and unseasoned. I’m truly shocked as I picked this restaurant based on the menu. Yes, it was restaurant week but I excepted so much more. Very disappointed

    Order the pear salad with goat cheese. Mostly all greens with one small piece of goat cheese. Pears whwere good though NJ strip was so fatty with every bite could not eat it. Needless to say not on my list moving forward. Very disappointing.

    Every time I go to this restaurant, I thoroughly enjoy myself. We were there for a restaurant week and from the moment we walked in it was a great ambience. Great dreams, great food, and great customer service. Our waiter provided details on the different types of wines he recommended as well as the beers. Across the three courses I myself got the tortellini, pork and the ricotta cake all which were so divine. My partner got the lobster bisque, which was very good. He felt that the veal was a little underseasoned, but very well cooked and the meat was very soft and lastly the chocolate dessert was also very good. I plan on coming back to try more wines and to eat more food.

    We went for restaurant week and the food was fantastic. Incredible service! Drink options for everyone including many N/A options which is very appreciated. Wine flights were a fun way to try many different wines.

    Panama is our go-to before a show at the Arden Theatre. The food and service are always excellent. Wine flights are fun for trying several, very good wines, and their handcrafted cocktails are great ways to explore different flavors and combinations.

    We love going to Panorama, especially for special occasions. We celebrated our 25th last night an everything was perfect as usual! Delicious food!
