We're Papa's Tapas—a proud fixture of Delray Beach's Atlantic Ave for nearly 15 incredible years. Our local family restaurant will bring you back to Old World Spain with tapas & dinner menus featuring proprietary recipes that have been passed down for generations.

Service was great. Engaging and energetic team who seemed genuinely invested in their guests. All the food was awesome with just lamb chops the lowlight, dry and overcooked but everything else was awesome (empanadas, pan tomaca, garlic shrimp, chorizo.. ) Will certainly be back!

Had a great dinner here. All the suggestions the server made were spot on and the sangria is delicious as well. We ordered paella right away and I particularly loved the one with chicken and we added chorizo which was a good call. Server was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely come back.

We went here on NYE (ate here two years ago and had no issue). Only reservation available was for outdoors (no problem). The table they gave us was a bit off the beaten path, with a broken chair. Food was very good but service was completely underwhelming. The waitress never told us the specials, never got the basket of bread that others got, and then the tempo of the food coming out was completely off. One of our kids meals came out with the apps, which came in a timely fashion, then the chicken fingers came next, also at a reasonable pace for the dinner, but then our adult entrees came a good 45-60 minutes after that. Our water took us asking twice for, and our second round of drinks also took forever. When we finally inquired about our dinner status to another waiter (ours was no where to be found) he asked what we ordered and said those dishes take a while(skirt steak and Mariscada??), but yet the table behind us got their order much faster than us. When it was time to pay, our waitress also asked as no longer in site so we finally just gave our credit card to another passing waitress. If you can’t handle the volume, please don’t book that many reservations.

Julie we appreciate the feedback. On a busy night food is going to take longer to come out. 45mins to an hour on an extremely busy night at 7:30-8 is pretty standard. We make all of our food from scratch so it does take some time to prepare. We are a family run restaurant too all feedback is greatly appreciated but if we have space to take reservations we will not turn people away.

So many options to choose from and it’s wonderful there are so many gluten-free choices. My family all enjoyed our dinner here — it was delicious! Carlos was our server and he was helpful with recommendations and he’s fantastic.

Haven't been for awhile. They have excellent tapas , but their regular menu of entrees is very diverse. My friend had mariscada, seafood stew. He had class, mussels, calamari, lobster , shrimp in a a sauce with yellow rice. I had a sea Bass filet with yellow rice and black beans with salsa Verde on the side. A big, tasty piece of fish. The service was very good and for what you got the prices were excellent.
