Parallel brings together the experience and background of the three Ozery brothers, Alon, Guy, and Aharon, to create this unique space and product.
“We grew up in a home where sesame butter (tahini) was consumed regularly alongside flavourful Mediterranean cuisine. Parallel was born from our history and love for sesame butter. It’s part of our culture and upbringing, and we want to share that with you.
There are few ingredients that are as versatile, nutritious, and just as damn tasty as sesame butter. That’s why we decided to make it in all its forms: try it in our dressings, salads, dips, bowls, and our famous homemade halva, and seed what is possible.
The three of us share a passion for simple meals with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and innovative techniques. That, along with our love for good coffee, art, music, and community, is what shapes the Parallel experience.”

    As always an incredible spot -- great food, incredible service (our service individual was so incredibly polite, attentive and very willing to go out of their way). The restaurant focuses on little details -- they had someone cleaning the entrance every time on a very snowy day in TO. They even had broken down the snow banks from the curb so people could load and unload right in front of the restaurant.

    Amazing date night spot. My partner an I have been wanting to try it out for a while. We were eager to order all this food and thankfully the server mentioned it was way too much so we listened to her advise which was absolutely perfect. Portions are very generous and everything was exceptional, we tried the falafel, classic hummus and Parallel salad, all amazing! as well as all of the staff was very friendly.

    We always know that we’re going to have a great dinner when we go to Parallel. This time we were there with four of us. It is way better to be there with four people rather than two people. With four people you get to enjoy a few more dishes. All of the food is always great and it’s hard to not have your favourites as well as something new and different.

    Moody ambience that is great for a date. Delicious and surprisingly filling food. Tasty cocktails. Cost is mid range, $50< pp and you're stuffed. If you don't drink alcohol the shared plates are actually a really good price. $80 of our bill was for the tasty cocktails and we cashed out after tip at $190 with left overs to take home.

    Everything was good - the Parallel salad was excellent! It was open on a Monday and took reservations making it very convenient. I would go back!

    The food was pretty good, family style and good portions. It was my friends birthday and they gave us complimentary mini Israeli drinks for a cheers. My drink was too sweet and they offered to adjust. Would dine again!

    The labneh and hummus were delicious. The Turkish coffee was outstanding. Our server was lovely. The place was lively and fun. We had a wonderful time.

    Awesome dinner as usual, but a little chilly on heated patio, but also was ABSOLUTELY freezing outside. They turned up the heat for us, thanks!!!
