   It did take awhile for our first course to come but the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

   Quite expensive for the quality of the food, I think. Wines probably 4x price in a shop. The duck was dry and harder than ideal, the cod in the snack a little gummy, artichokes need a cook who really appreciates them to treat them as they should. Service is wonderful, kind, patient… great. The jazz in the bar, the best part of the dinner. In summary, not bad at all but too expensive.

   The worst aspect of this dinner was the terribly slow service. We constantly had to seize a passing waitress to give an order or remind them that we were waiting for water, a side, etc. The food was variable; the cheese straws were the best thing, quite delicious. Soup was quite good, ans was pork terrine. Otherwise nothing outstanding. The wine list is very highly priced for what it is. The best thing is the ambience, noise level acceptable, view of Parker’s Piece. .

   The service was first class, we were made very welcome by our waitress, I think her name might be Siddhi. We have a voucher and she explained fully what was included for that voucher. She did not make it feel awkward, as we experienced at the Savoy in London. The food was beautifully presented, very good portions and absolutely delicious. We look forward to returning to Parker's Tavern in the near future. Thank you for a lovely experience!

   We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Parker's Tavern. The food exceeded expectations (which were already high) but it was the superb, friendly service – in particular from Keerthy – that really made the experience special. Highly recommended!

   We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Parkers Tavern in the University Arms. The ambience was inspiring and still tranquil, beautiful paintings and decorations and nice views. The service was excellent and attentive and smiling staff. Every course was delicious and great choices. Its a spacious restaurant with high ceiling so not noisy. Overall a fantastic experience !

    The menu from the new chef is excellent, more ambitious and interesting than previously which was not too bad anyway. The specials for Good Friday included Fish Pie Royal which was spectacular; loaded with lobster! We always love our visits to Parker's Tavern; our Cambridge favourite.
