With traditional finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones, accompanied by chocolate and almond delice, blueberry cheesecake, rhubarb and vanilla choux bun and raspberry and rose roulade. A free-from menu is available. Please provide at least 3 days' notice for any dietary restrictions.

As part of a continued banquet feast series, on Wednesday 7th May, Nose to Tail returns with a Lavinton Lamb Feast. Chef Lee is set to butcher a whole lamb and showcase how every cut of the animal can be used and source a special menu. All served on platters to share alongside locally sourced vegetables.

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Parkers Tavern in the University Arms. The ambience was inspiring and still tranquil, beautiful paintings and decorations and nice views. The service was excellent and attentive and smiling staff. Every course was delicious and great choices. Its a spacious restaurant with high ceiling so not noisy. Overall a fantastic experience !

The menu from the new chef is excellent, more ambitious and interesting than previously which was not too bad anyway. The specials for Good Friday included Fish Pie Royal which was spectacular; loaded with lobster! We always love our visits to Parker's Tavern; our Cambridge favourite.

Amazing food, the staff were so kind and attentive. The afternoon tea was amazing and had a good selection but the portions were a little too big! Thankfully they gave us some boxes to take the scones with us which we enjoyed very much later in the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Had a lovely view of Parker’s Piece.

Lovely food. Service as usual pretty bad. Staff all lovely but need training. We were shown to table then left alone for 20 minutes. Had to ask for attention
