Standing proudly on Wimbledon High Street, our seventh Patara combines art and craft to give a deceptively spacious feel to the interior. Clean lines are married to detailing which draws inspiration from the intricacies of Thai carving and three distinct spaces in which diners can enjoy themselves: the 80-cover restaurant itself, 50-seat outdoor terrace and casual lunchtime Yum Bar. Serving a mix of stunningly authentic and playfully modern dishes, Patara Wimbledon brings all the best aspects of Thailand to SW19.

The menu is quite varied-the dishes are well prepared and the sauces which accompany the dishes are excellent. We had a very enjoyable meal -good flavours -substantial portions -and excellent friendly service. Overall very good value in a really nice space.

It was me and my sister first time coming, we was really looking forward in the mango and sticky rice but they didn’t have any since it was according to the season I believe, but never the less we still enjoyed our food. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant and would be coming back with my family.

We are regular to Patara, we were so disappointed with food this time. Starter dishes tasted different, we did not like them! Mains were ok I remember Patara had a dip few years back then picked up back to it amazing tasteful food, now having another dip sadly as it used to be one of our fav!

Sadly the restaurant was virtually empty (Friday lunchtime) shame them, but obviously this affected ambience Food and service was great

It was very disappointing apart from the Bass which was excellent. Service was slow but polite. Very poor value for money and a brand that’s lost it way

Very pleasant restaurant with charming staff. Lovely courtyard for summer evenings. Starter dishes are particularly good. Downside is that it had become really expensive….
