Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu contains all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace. Our curries are inspired by the railway cooks on train journeys in India.

Founder, Puneet Wadhwani, has created a never-before-seen menu bringing to life the snacks and dishes he once ate as a child growing up within a bicycle ride of New Delhi train station

From rail side snacks, such as ‘girlfriend chaat,’ cooked on the platform and handed to travellers through the windows of passing trains, to the fragrant curries, such as, ‘rare ghost,’ cooked on board.

A trip on Valentines 2025 night and wow Amazing delicious cuisine both the mixed grill and thali and special thanks to the staff members who were always willing to assist and guide you through the choices explaining the different styles and flavour’s and not too hot or too mild :) Thank you for your hospitality and Truly worth a visit a must go place to eat definitely !! Excellent selection of dishes in the thali. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would go again.

Service was excellent. I wish they would only pit half the chillies in the food so that you can the actual food rather than chillies.

We had a lovely evening at parti, staff were extremely attentive and polite. We had the sharing thali for 2 vegetarian, the starters were amazing and the main course was great too. I’m only giving it 4 stars because the paneer was a little on the sweet side and being paneer lovers that was a bit of a let down. Overall we had a great time and will look to return back at some point

Had dinner with friends at Patri as it was roughly half way for us all. Intrigued by the venue - rustic railway station vibe. But the food was amazing - chat starter was delicious and the thali did not disappoint. Service was very relaxed but the buzzer on the table helped to speed things along! Would definitely recommend for some different Indian fayre.

Recommend by neighbours, I was completely unaware of its existence. Amazing food, great service and a gem of a location in the local area
