I reserved a table but when I went there there was no difference between those who reserved and those who didn’t.. when I asked for a clarification no one bothered to help out they said I am the same as others and need to wait in the long queue, so I left and went elsewhere. Very bad customer service, never expected such well-known restaurant to be that careless.

Experience started decent but then the service started to get worse as the place got “busier”. They were understaffed for a Jan 1 brunch hour. I ordered a second coffee a third of the way into my meal and never got it. There was also a long line of customers waiting to be seated but wasn’t able to as they didn’t have the staff to bus the tables. So lots of empty dirty tables which resulted in waiting customers staring at you angrily if you’re just trying to finish your meal quickly. Food was decent. The mango chia was delicious. The salmon benny was fresh as well

All our meals were outstanding , we went for New Years Day Brunch . Unfortunately whoever did the scheduling for that day did not put enough servers and baristas on the floor . The group in front of us waited over half an hour for their table that they had previously made a reso for … we waited 20 minutes for ours . ( we had a reso , too) They had one woman making ALL the drink orders AND trying to seat people at tables AND also she was clearing tables and taking orders , she was run off her feet , we all felt bad for the few people that were working that day .BUT they were all friendly and did a great job ,with the situation , applaud the staff that were working that day ,,, our food was delicious , the service was great, it’s not their fault they didn’t schedule enough people to work that day .

La atención del personal muy buena. Muy amables. Pero la comida no estaba buena. Pan seco o un poco duro, croque madame muy normalito y los huevos benedictinos demasiado hechos para pochados.

Dirty dishes on tables everywhere, terrible service, omelettes were so dry that you couldn’t eat them. The entire experience was so bad that it was laughable.

The price was expensive. There is PAUL in Japan, selling the same food but $10 cheaper.

Food was ok but was quite slow. We were there at 10:30 in the morning only one girl was working at the inside brunch dining area. Ordered 2 orders of Paul classic breakfast. Only difference between 2 orders are the eggs,one is sunny side up and the other one was over hard ones. But we got the 2nd one about 15 mins later after the first one. Also our table was the one near the bathroom. Each time people enter or exit the bathroom the door was slammed really noisily.

This has become our Boxing Day ritual! We find that it always exceeds our expectation when it comes to taste and service and atmosphere. It is well worth the drive and having to pay for parking coming all the way from Maple Ridge. Highly recommend it to everyone.
