Owned and operated by husband and wife team Nick & Audra Guidry, Pelican & Pig operates with playful creativity and service in mind. Drawing inspiration from places they have lived and from their many travels, in name and through the menu, the restaurant is a nod to the inspirations and influences from the past and present. By bringing a fine-casual dining service experience to a comfortable, cozy atmosphere, it is our goal to provide exceptional service through attention to details and knowledge of products and menus.

                                                            We enjoyed every single bite and sip! We ordered the beef tartare, broccolini, and sweet potatoes for the table, and then had the ribeye and the pork chop as entrees. Every bite was spectacular!! No notes at all on the food. Our only mild disappointment was that we ordered a round of drinks for the kitchen staff (which is an option on the menu called ‘Rock Stars’) when we ordered our own drinks at the start of our meal, and we never saw any drinks delivered to them. It’s an open kitchen in plain view of the dining area, and we were bummed that we never saw them take a shot or pass out beers to sip on as they cook or anything like that. We were hoping to raise a glass with them in cheers, or at least see some drinks set out for them, but I’m not sure they ever got the round we paid for. It’s a small thing, but I was expecting a bit more fanfare for that to be an option on the menu. Still, this was a five-star anniversary meal, and I cannot say enough about the food. We’ll be back for another special occasion soon!!

                                                            Hands down the best overall meal I have had around Nashville. Four people in our party so we tried each entree on the menu. All were fabulous. Tried two appetizers, two shareable sides - the sweet potato and whipped feta topped the list. Absolutely cannot wait to come back.

                                                            The service was great! The food was very good but they no longer have the corn ribs and the potatoes. We were looking forward to these items. Please bring them back!🥺

                                                            Blake was amazing! He was very knowledgeable of the menu and engaging. Great conversation to establish our likes and Blake's suggestions were perfect. Highly recommended!

                                                            Food was good overall but they’re terribly slow. Not sure if this was a kitchen staffing issue but we were there for 2.5 hours after ordering a few drinks and shareables. Was definitely a longer than we expected and had to stay on them to get out in that time frame. Going to be hard to go back there.
