We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. These are just some of the reasons we were awarded the Taste of the West GOLD award in 2019.
We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

Very good service, nice restaurant and good food but the wine was rather expensive at £9.50 a glass which was what we were charged

My husband and I had a wonderful meal today. We visited for Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday and everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The car park is great as the spaces are nice and wide, it’s refreshing to not have to worry you’re going to have a scratched car after your meal. We were half an hour early but the lovely hostess said it was fine and showed us to our table in a cozy corner. We were served drinks quickly and every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly and very welcoming. The carvery was delicious as were the desserts we had and drinks too. On paying the bill we were surprised at how good value it all was. We will definitely be back very soon

A little slow today but it was busy, good selection on the menu and good quality food. Great GF options, Slimming World and dog friendly we will be back for sure.

Hospitality was above and beyond, the staff worked very hard to ensure we experienced the best customer service experience. The food was delicious! Highly recommend!

The food is amazing and I felt like I was in heaven, definitely recommend the chefs white chocolate cheesecake (Bella age 10)
