Our reservation was for 7.30. By the time we were calling our ride at 9.20, the staff were clearing up and we felt we should no longer be there. As we headed to the front to wait for our ride, all the bar stools were out from the bar, ready to clean and the shutter was down on the bar. We felt we’d outstayed our welcome. Thank goodness we didn’t make a reservation for 8.00!

We went to Peppervine for our 20th wedding anniversary with our girls. Ambience was good but the Food and service was mediocre. They did have much choice on the food , No chicken dish was available, the salad dressing was so bad that no one could eat except me , Nan for the soup was burned, Entree mushroom dish had a sauce that had such a strong flavor that my daughter could hardly finish. some dishes were ok but nothing over the top. cocktails were good but again nothing special. Service was mediocre- no one stopped by to check on us about how the food was and if they can make anything better, They didn’t clean the table quickly enough, will we were taking a selfie the waitress just popped up and left the food on the table. Overall not worth the hype and the money, there are so many places that is opening in charlotte and we always like to try new ones, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Allergies are a concern when I dine out and the Peppervine chefs were willing to help me have an enjoyable and safe meal. My waitress was friendly and informed on safe foods. Our meal before our Queens University show was perfect!

This was not our first visit to Peppervine, but it may have been the best. We like the food and service very much. And the quiet! Our server’s name was A. We cannot remember! She was the best ever, and she served us on Feb. 20 She was superb: she did not hover or rush us, but she was attentive. Our food was all excellently prepared. We missed Tommy, but the wine choice was also appreciate. Thanks!

The bison bolognese with handkerchief pasta was excellent as was the mahi. Locally sourced cheese, fresh pasta made in-house was exceptional. Good service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend dining here, overall the restaurant is just okay. The food is not worth the price tag. I visited on Valentine’s Day and did not have a great experience. The food ordered were flavorless, and I felt things may have been frozen rather than freshly prepared. I ordered the crab dip, tuna tartare, diver scallops, and hanger steak. In particular, the dip, scallops, vegetables, and steak appeared to be previously frozen and simply reheated. The bottle of wine was the best item ordered. The dishes were unremarkable. Service was fine; however, it did not match the restaurant experience.

The service was impeccable and the food was delicious!! Definitely get more shareables, as the main dishes are small. I took off a few stars for that reason - for $34 I expect more than two tiny piece of short rib. But the food was excellent!
