We were seated promptly at a nice window table overlooking the Gulf, and our waiter Will was most pleasant and professional. Our food and cocktails were excellent—my filet was perfectly cooked. Loud music over the sound system detracted from the ambiance; something like soft jazz at a lower volume would have been more appropriate. That’s a minor quibble, considering the food and the view!

Another lovely dining experience at the perch. A gentle breeze, the pier bustling with activity we viewed the sun setting into the abyss of the gulf. What a wonderful spot in LA. (lower alabama). It seemed like a nice evening for a martini with a sprinkling of olive juice and stuffed olives with blue cheese, just right. We grazed through the appetizers, we tried grilled shrimp with toasted sourdough bread, a bit better than average with the proper reduction of the butter and garlic. The real treat was the braised octopus, was much like a stew. The octopus was tender, with tomato, chorizo and fingerling potatoes. This would have satisfied a S a meal for those looking for a light bite. Our main courses were the pan seared scallops with the braised pork belly, sweet potatoes and a bit of coconut rice. A sweet balsamic was not overpowering. Just right with the exception of not being able to accommodate no or less carbs. A cauliflower rice would have been a solid alternative. The other dish, a ribeye prepared to order, nice. Its the view, comfort and cuisine that keeps us coming back to the perch. We just like being pampered a bit, and this spot consistently delivers. Bon appetite!

The best experience while on our annual girls’ trip! Joe was the very best server - friendly, funny, and full of good suggestions! The food was incredibly delicious, the views simply beautiful, and we highly recommend!!

Loved The Date Night variety. Very good. Ordered the Rib eye Medium-rare and it was quite rare, next time I would order Medium-rare+. Great waitress and bartendar was good too. Loved the saxophone player. we will be back
