Opened in 1887, Peter Luger Steak House has become a culinary, historical and cultural landmark in the heart of Williamsburg. It's close to the Brooklyn experience. We loved the wedge salad, bacon , steak, German potatoes, and spinach.

I get why PL has been in business for 135 years. On point in flavor, service and wine selection. We had a beautiful evening and had a ton of leftovers the Holy Cow sundae was decadent and delicious. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

The restaurant is expensive. That said, the quality of the beef is excellent and the portions are generous. We dined on a Sunday afternoon to take advantage of the lunch special: salad, entree, and dessert $49. Warm rolls were delivered to the table but since they turned rock hard within 10 minutes we realized that they had been microwaved. Service was friendly but slow. It seemed as though the restaurant was understaffed. Be ready to enjoy a delicious, leisurely meal.

Overall highly recommend and would come again. Only drawback is for some reason they got our drink, our appetizer wrong and never gave us fries - though waiter entered everything correctly.
