   We have had the good fortune of dining out alot and have never had an experience like the one we had here. We waited almost 50 minutes for poorly prepared appetizers, then another long delay for entrees. One diner in our party got her meal, then we waited another 8 minutes for 2 more entrees,followed by more waiting time until everyone else was served. All the while Philomena seemed oblivious to our plight (despite our attempts to get her attention.) She was too busy carousing with patrons at the bar or "singing" at the mic. Our waiter tried valiently to accommodate us, even telling us that he had spoken to the owner; obviously they just don't care...and neither should anyone else care about this place.

   This was our second trip to this restaurant. The food is good... the people working there are nice. it is not an inexpensive night out but it is a pleasant evening nonetheless.

   This was our second visit and it was as good as the first. Our waitress was very helpful with our dinner choices. All the meals were very good

   bread came out cold 3 times. food was warm not hot, pasta alfredo was dry and cappucino was like dish water.

   Service was confused and slow. Possible that since this is the start of the Summer season, staff was new and in training. Bartender was very knowledgable and served up excellent drinks.

   A disaster! Valet parking attendant & waiter were friendly. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated for our 8PM reservation in a half empty restaurant. Couldn't get a second bottle of the wine we wanted, they had only one bottle on hand. The first course took about 45 minutes (unremarkable salads; too many figs with a little tough pork in a sweet sauce)-reason given for delay was chef was having a meltdown. After about another 45 minutes we were told dinner would be delayed because of a computer problem (still don't understand what this had to do with not getting food to the table). No efforts for service recovery by anyone. We left without eating dinner, as did the table next to us. Was this a bad night or sign of a failing restaurant?

   Philomena's is absolutely wonderful. Everything on the menu is amazing. The pork and figs appetizer was to die for! The restaurant is fine dining inside and also has a tiki bar with seating outside right on the water for a beautiful view! The service was excellent and every dish was amazing. I am definately making a reservation for next weekend!

   FOOD WAS DELIGHTFULLY SCRUMPTOUS AND THE OWNERS WERE CHARMING. WHAT A GREAT PLACE!!!
