Nestled in the heart of the Madison neighborhood at 16th street and Bethany Home Road, Phoenix City Grille was built in the style of the old town tavern. It's a comfortable place for meeting friends where you can count on delicious food at reasonable prices.

                        Great overall job as usual. Austin and the bar staff are very attentive and make great recommendations on did and beverages. The Carne asada tacos are one of the best things on the menu! The ribs were good but I felt I was eating two different sets of ribs. The top portion the ribs fell off the bone! The bottom portion was not as done.

                        A new menu shows some ‘trend’ tendencies, which could be a sign of change for the sake of change. Jury is out. Dropping the popular Baja Shrimp is not likely to go well. Even the waitstaff thought it an odd change. Still a solid and comfortable local spot.

                        We had reservations at 7 PM. We were advised that they were out of the two items we wanted: Halibut and Ribs. We were so frustrated, but it was too late to go somewhere else. Had to settle for other items. Very disappointed…

                        We have been going here for many years and have yet to be disappointed in either the food or service. Hope to go many more times. Couple of items we really like are the Salmon and the Pork tenderloin.

                        My husband and I had both burgers and they were absolutely fresh and delicious. I also had the best margarita that I've ever had before. I asked our server, Jonah for the menu to see if I can replicate it at home.
