Phuc Yea offers a selection of shareable plates that capture the soulfulness and passion behind family-rooted recipes, the restaurant is inspired by Aniece Meinhold's Vietnamese heritage and Cesar Zapata's Third Coast culinary roots. Under one roof, guests are invited to marvel at Biscayne's blossoming Mimo District; embrace 90's hip-hop, street-cool music; and enjoy Cesar's version of Viet- Cajun cuisine - a lively mash up of fresh and colorful Vietnamese ingredients pumped up with spicy, bold Cajun flavors. This grown up version of Phuc Yea is largely seafood driven.

Brunch features a dim sum style menu that highlights classic American brunch preparations. It is at brunch, Chef Zapata will feature his Gulf and Southern influences more prominently while still integrating Vietnamese breakfast tradition.

Service was excellent and not one dish was normal, everything was extremely yummy and I would definitely recommend this restaurant and return

Our phuc yea dining experience was overall AMAZING. What you get on the inside is NOTHING compared to the outside of the building. The ambiance is amazing early in the evening and picks up pretty rapidly as the night progresses. It was completely packed and very energetic. The food was over Great, the only thing we didnt care for was the fried chicken which lacked flavor but the sauce and watermelon served with the dish helped. Everything else we ordered was delicious. Food is tapas style and was a bit pricey overall for portion size. The drinks were amazing. Every person there, from the hostess, bartenders, servers and waitresses were ALL amazing! Thank you truly for this experience!

Short rib was very memorable! Paired with the fried rice was a perfect combo. Cocktails menu offered creative options, which were delicious! Would definitely return and recommend.

Long wait to get in, even after our reservations. Hostess tried to compensate with drinks and an appetizer. Waitress mixed up order. Overall it was good, yet with issues…..for the price, try harder to be better.

So over priced for what you get! The short rib which is their signature dish at $119 was just ok and a bit flavorless. Too small of a portion for that price. Eggplants the same …tiny portion and just ok in general. Also the air conditioner was blasting on a cool night and they wouldn’t turn it down, which made it unpleasant to sit in, almost got sick. Just not a great experience, not going back. Dinner should’ve been $200 instead of $400
