                                      Ristorante carino, in centro Dublino. Cibo molto buono e servizio eccellente, camerieri tutti disponibili e simpatici. Prezzo non proprio modesto ma in linea con i ristoranti della città. Comunque consigliato.

                                      A very good experience. Food and service were excellent. A large choice of wines (Argentina, Australia, South Africa, France, Italy,...). A fully "bistronomic" address.

                                      First of all, we love Pichet. If you're going for their regular menu, skip this review and just enjoy it. This time, we opted for the "Friends of Pichet" tasting menu, which sounded promising, especially with the signature of Michelin-starred chef Stefan McEnteer. At €105 per person, expectations were high, and it started strong with a fantastic tuna tartare that had us excited for what was to come. Unfortunately, that excitement faded quickly. The food was good, but both the sole and lamb dishes arrived lukewarm. With the sole, we gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was topped with caviar and maybe the sauce didn’t help retain heat, but still, not ideal. By the end, we were simply still hungry. The portions just didn’t feel sufficient, and we were left wondering why there weren’t more generous sides, especially considering how great and filling Pichet’s regular sides usually are. The dessert didn’t help much in terms of substance, and the cocktail pairing wasn’t to our taste either, though that part is more subjective. Overall, we left wondering if this was actually designed to be a lunch menu, in which case it really should have had a different price point. If you’re looking to spend around €105 on a tasting menu, I’d recommend something like Variety Jones instead, also Michelin-starred, and you actually leave satisfied. By all means, go to Pichet for their regular menu, it’s great. But be cautious with the tasting experiences.

                                      This was a real treat for us. The choices are just four options for each course, but I could easily have enjoyed all options. My halibut was gorgeous as was himselfs duck. Gorgeous Italian wine recommended by our super nice waiter. I don’t usually have the cheeseboard but was delighted with it last night. We shared it so just had to ask for a few extra crackers. All three cheeses were perfect and a lovely way to end the meal. Looking forward to returning again.

                                      Fabulous evening at Pichet to celebrate my mother’s big birthday. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and efficient. Highly recommend a night out here. Will certainly return.
