Very good experience. The food and service was excellent. We loved being serenaded by Mariachis.

WARNING: When making a reservation through OpenTable, it’s not a “reservation,” but a call ahead meaning you can still wait 45 minutes to be seated. We make reservations because my dad is disabled & unable to endure the heat. Otherwise, food was good & the Sunday band was outstanding!

Ambience was nice. Service was slow, order came out correctly however only offered a total of 5 tortillas. There were 4 of us in our party. We were told it was only 1 tortilla per ordered plate and 1 extra. Which is odd because usually it’s 2 tortillas per plate. Then we were told by a different waitress it was supposed to be 2 per plate. ?? Chorizo/eggs were burnt and the beans had zero flavor. It was not bad but definitely disappointing especially for Mother’s Day.

The flour tortillas were excellent, the enchiladas very good. The $5.00 margarita met its price point. Refried beans excellent. Tamales good, rice good. Overall I'll be back. It got a 4 due to the service being a little slow.

Great food and wonderful service. Near downtown, but with ample free parking. This is our go-to place for entertaining out of town guests.

One of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are in San Antonio. Authentic Mexican food great service and atmosphere. OpenTable is the best way to go to get your reservations as the restaurant has a long waiting list if not.
