   Always good food and service at Pier 22. Corned beef o And cab bag on St. Patrick’s day was a real treat

   Our first brunch here, busier than usual due to high season. Parking was very tight, ended up doing valet which was a very good service. The location and atmosphere are always great. The food quality was not that great. The Reuben sandwich had more bread than anything else and the side Caesar was extremely small. The waitress was great, but the hostesses barely acknowledged us. I should have had the eggs !!!

   Four of us went at noon time (had reservations) and we sat outside but it took 10-15 minutes before a waitress (Ariel) came to the table. It was about 10-15 minutes before the chowder came and it wasn’t hot. It was another 30 minutes before our food came (2 omelets, eggs and bacon, and a chicken dish). Some of the food was hot and some of it was not. It was busy but not packed. We’ve been to Pier 22 many times but this time was not a good experience.

    As usual, Sunday brunch riverside was great. Even saw a dolphin glide by! Was busy at 11am and our waitress seemed overwhelmed with orders, serving, checks and coffee refills. While I can sit back and enjoy the river breezes and scenery. Others might not be so patient.
