Not a very good experience. It was our first time trying out Pinstripes buffet since we had visited for a corporate event in December for bowling and the spread looked great. I booked a special springtime early Easter event with my family and mother weeks in advance and even confirmed with OpenTable many times ahead. When the five of us arrived, it seemed that the staff was confused and made us wait a bit to get a table since they had not been ready for the reservation, and saw it only once we were there. Although it was a short wait, we ended up in a corner window table by the bar that was meant for 4. By adding on a chair at the end, they made the seating for 5 but those at the window could not get out without moving the seated person in the chair. I had to crawl over my mother a few times in my dress! The spread was a bit picked over at the loks and bagels table even though it should have been updated continuously. I liked that there was an omelette table, carvery station, breakfast buffet and pizza and lunch options. The fruit was also a bonus with great prawns next to it. However, I felt there was a lack of variety for the price ($38 per person). Because of the 1pm time (we were coming from south east San Jose for the event) we were very hungry so half of my party did not wait to order drinks and leapt at the small buffet. When I returned, the drinks had already been ordered and I wasn’t able to order for myself, and went along with the bottomless mimosa (my fault but it was because I had to catch up with the rest of my party who were almost finished). Not the drink I craved, but my fault for wanting to eat instead. My omelette was cold by the time I crawled around my mom and the extra cheese hadn’t melted in my cheese and spinach omelette. Still, I had a lot of food, ate as much as possible, but lost my appetite half way through (distracted by our conversation). It was a hefty bill at the end and I don’t think it was worth the planning and commute there.

Went for my mother’s birthday and everyone who helped us was wonderful, kind, and very attentive. It was a very beautiful night, the food was delicious, and the birthday desert was such a delight! Left very happy and very full.

It was beyond what I expected even when busy it felt like a chilled spot mix with adults and kids enjoying the vibe of just being there with amazing food mixed with great service. I was off on my reservation and to work with me and not turn me away made the experience worth coming back. Thank you J.S.

A very lively and active place. Not a quiet place for a quiet romantic dinner, but for sure a great spot to take the fam and throw back a few beers! Don't order the calamari app you'll be disappointed as the serving size is small. Make reservations as it gets very busy on the weekends! Also not a big fan of their turkey Cobb salad as the use canned turkey. Can't go wrong with the wings and flat bread.

Bottomless spaghetti and meatballs and bottomless chop salad was excellent, especially the salad. Our server, Luis, was prompt and efficient. Reservation/seating timely. Noise level was a bit much. Quieter atmosphere would have made conversation easier for our table of 4.

I have always enjoyed Pinstripes, they have great salads and I like sitting outside on the patio. I went with a friend who has been there many times. We both ordered a salad which has always been large enough as an entree. We were surprised when we received our salads and they were small, appetizer size ! We asked our server about it and he apologized for not telling us that the restaurant had changed the size , it was half as big as before but still priced at $14! The salad was delicious but too small for an entree and not a good value at $14 !
