Chef Mary-Ellen McTague takes an innovative and conscientious approach to cooking crafting new flavours from unconventional ingredients. Mary-Ellen and her team reimagine local culinary heritage through seasonal low-waste menus prepared using the bountiful produce of the North West. Pips menus focus on utilizing local seasonal produce from sustainable sources whenever we can diners can expect dishes that innovatively showcase the potential of each ingredient. The menus are complemented by Pip’s hyper-seasonal cocktails created in synergy with the kitchen to use spent ingredients to complement the food served alongside a low intervention wine offering. Mary-Ellen McTague a celebrated chef from Manchester has significantly influenced the citys culinary scene from her acclaimed restaurants Aumbry and The Creameries to founding the nonprofit Eat Well MCR during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eat Well MCR which provides chef-made meals to those in need became a cornerstone of her community impact.

Every Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. Sunday Roast prepared by Mary-Ellen McTague and team. Enjoy the Pip selection of snacks and starters including Carlingford Oysters and Smoked Chalk Stream Trout, Mustard Cream, Rhubarb Ketchup with Rye before enjoying the main course – a perfectly cooked roast with all the trimmings followed by puddings including Treacle Tart, Earl Grey & Bergamot and Poached Rhubarb, Rosewater Cream & Black Pepper Meringue. A children's menu is also available to cater to the entire family.
Set Menu | Monday-Wednesday | 5-9pm

Available Monday to Wednesday, featuring seasonal ingredients, Pip's changing set menu is created by Mary-Ellen McTague and the team. Choose from 2 or 3 courses with optional sides to complement the dishes. 2 Courses for £28, 3 Courses for £35 per person. 5pm-9pm.

Great time at Pip. We had cocktails at the bar and were then shown through to our table. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding.
