   We were late for our reservation due to traffic and we were still sat. Great food. Love that it is 95% gluten free!

   This is a great restaurant in old town Erie. We sat on the deck where the heaters kept is warm. Service is great with good wine and signature cocktails. The restaurant is family owned and the chef Hugo is the owner along with his wife. Excellent Spanish cuisine, tapas, and paella on the first Monday of every month!

   My friend and I meet in Erie for birthday lunches. Erie is between Denver and Greeley. Piripi was suggested by a friend as anew and good restaurant in Erie. My friend and I agree. The menu offered many options. We were able to share a couple of items on the menu. We each had the mushroom soup which was delish. And the espresso pie was divine. We will be back.

   I’ve eaten at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner. It is excellent either time. The food is fresh and flavorful. The drinks are also very good. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. I’ve had the chicken piccata and the vegan platter for entrees and both were very very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   We decided to book a reservation to try some tapas and wine for a fun snacks dinner. First, it’s a really cool little spot in Erie. Nice looking patio. They have a great and diverse wine selection. We ordered 5 tapas.. The first two seafood options were not so great. The muscles/clam dish had great flavor, however VERY overcooked & rubbery. The scallops were beautifully done, however not fresh/turned l-expired. They had that ammonia fish taste. The next two courses were absolute perfection, loved the octopus and the shrimp. They have nice gluten-free options. We debated, but ended up telling the kitchen staff about the first two tapas because of the scallops were fresh & if the mussels were not over cooked they would have been great. Our server was quick to comp, though we asked her not to. We didn’t want to make a fuss or call attention to others around us. The rating reflects the hiccups we had. We hope to try again in the future and give it another shot. It’s potentially a hidden gem in Erie. All of the gluten-free items that they offer were very good. It’s hard to get a gluten-free baguette that actually taste like one!Our server was amazing. The young busser, though friendly, kept interrupting us along with other tables to clear plates & glasses, though not empty. He took my empty wine glasses, though we still had a bottle of wine on the table. Patrons at other tables just kind of smiled and shrugged her shoulders. I wish them all success.

   Food was good, except for almond crusted fish & chips, which was a bit dry. Also the garlic aïoli could’ve used more flavor. But appetizers, vegetables, and the mahi-mahi dish were great. Service was excellent, and we were warm on the patio due to the fantastic heaters.

   Had a great night celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday! They even had a balloon for our table and a little gift on the way out the door! Always love this place.

    We had a wonderful date night at Piripi this weekend. Incredible, flavorful food with lots of tasty tapas options to share. Great atmosphere, with a heated patio that felt great on a November evening. Will definitely be back for more.
