                                                                            A cute BYO in the heart of Ambler has wonderful food, great service, and lots of energy on the weekends. For a quieter experience go during the week, food and service are exactly the same.

                                                                            This is my 3rd time at planchette and it is definitely becoming a Go-to restaurant for special occasions. The service is friendly but unobtrusive. There is a lot of variety on the menu and the specials always sound delightful. I’m so glad that I found out about this place.

                                                                            Enjoyed another tasty meal at Planchette on a Saturday night. The place was packed when we arrived for our 7:30 reservation, with a number of tables waiting to be served. We were seated within a reasonable time, given how busy it was. It was a bit stuffy in the restaurant- until we asked if the A/C could be turned on/lower. Appetizers were good, but the crepes are always the star of the show - full of flavor and generously portioned. Two of us enjoyed the “traditional “ crepe, while a 3rd manner of the party had the Mediterranean crepe, modified to add seafood. We finished the meal by sharing a very nice chocolate cake.

                                                                            I took my best friend here for a late lunch for her 40th bday! It was delicious! We shared the escargots, the duck crepe with truffle cream, and braised short ribs! We also had creme brûlée and a chocolate truffle cake! Great service and great atmosphere!
