   Greeted warmly and seated immediately even though I was early and my dining partner hadn’t arrived. Server (Rebecca) gave excellent recommendations. Bang bang broccoli was good and crispy but wish it was served warm or hot not cold. Companion enjoyed ahi watermelon. Sweet potato dish was a little mushy but tasty. Dessert - matcha cheesecake and chocolate brownie were excellent

   Sushi was great. All three entrées were not; mine was also delivered 20 minutes after my group. Staff was great but they dealt with disruptive patron and the ejection involved the chef so hence the delay. Not sure if that meant my food was simply delayed or rushed but it was not good. They did comp my sandwich after I shared that it wasn’t good. Bathroom door was difficult to close and towels were not in the dispenser. Walking back and forth to the bathroom, there was a random towel on a cabinet and it just told the story of my less-than-ideal experience.

   This Planta location has gone down hill - our food was greasy and the service was horrible. I used to like Planta but would no longer recommend this restaurant - definitely a very unpleasant experience.

   We’ve been fans of Planta since the Bethesda location opened, and we were thrilled when Planta Queen opened in West End. It was great when it first opened, but the past multiple times we’ve been to Planta Queen, there has been poor service, prices have risen, and the quantity and quality of the food has significantly dropped. It’s very disappointing, as this is a great opportunity to show non-plant-based people how beautiful and tasty vegan food can be. I hope in the new year, Planta Queen steps it up and focuses on the quality of food and its service.

    The service was great! The food was unseasoned. I expected better. It looks nice. The ambiance was great, but the food was not good at all.
