    We were seated and waited 20 minutes before a server came to our table and only after alerting a hostess. The server, only 1 of 2 that night took our drink and appetizer order and didn’t return for 30 minutes to take our entree order. (I understand they were short staffed and it was a Holiday weekend with only two servers who appeared very stressed). People seated around us looked around in wondering if anyone was going to acknowledge them. The servers would just walk by with no acknowledgment. I am very sympathetic to a shortage of good help these days but it only takes a minute to acknowledge guests. It didn’t appear that there was a manager or anyone in charge that should’ve gone to tables to greet guests. take a drink order or explain that it would be a few minutes. We were there two hours and by the end it appeared that some of the other staff (hostesses and maybe a manager) were helping out a little running drinks and food. The food was good but the noise level was very loud and crowded at the bar which made it difficult to talk and enjoy our “date night”. I will note that I hardly ever complain or leave bad reviews, but I just wanted to make the staff aware of our experience and what we witnessed of others guests around us. I will give Plate another try on a less busy time as I did enjoy the food.

    Plate never disappoints !! Our latest visit was fantastic we all enjoyed our food and drink , I highly recommend it, my favorite restaurant in Stowe !!

    Super slow drink service, otherwise great. Took over 10min to even get server to table to order drinks after arriving. Second round equally slow.

    We had a perfect December evening in Stowe village and Plate was the icing on the cake. Delicious food, fabulous service and a menu with a little something for everyone in the group (two of which are fussy eaters). I would confidently recommend and will definitely be back!

    Delicious dinners! Creative cocktails! Excellent, attentive wait staff! We enjoyed our meal the first night so much, we went back the following night! Thank you!

    We have been to Plate multiple times over the years and it never disappoints. Drinks and food are creative and delicious.

    Excellent food, but small quantities. Salmon tartare salad was very basic, with very minimal dressing.

    Great food. Great drinks. Vibrant place to the point of not being able to hear ourselves talk at times, which was the only negative on the night.

    Overall the experience was spectacular - particularly the service and ambiance. We had 6 plates and left no scraps. I’d def return when I’m next in town.
