The Platea Experience provides guests with a one-of-a-kind take on the classic Prime Steakhouse but delivering them with flavors brought on by the Peruvian influence and quality Marmolejos & Salazar are known for. All our steaks come from the top 1% of the Prime cattles in the USA, some of the very best there is in the world when it comes to marbling, fattiness, and flavor. All our seafood is fresh and comes from independent purveyors, some of them flying in the selective menu items on a daily basis.

Platea Miami in Pinecrest exceeded all expectations and provided a truly memorable dining experience. From the impeccable service by our server, Adan, to the deliciously curated dishes, everything was top-notch. The appetizers and sides were just as noteworthy. The Tostones had the perfect crispness, and the Fried Ceviche offered a unique twist on a classic, with its fresh and tangy flavors elevated by the crispy preparation. Our table enjoyed a variety of their offerings, and each item was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The New York Strip and Filet Mignon were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The Prime Ribeye was equally impressive, showcasing a balance of seasoning and juiciness that any steak lover would appreciate. The Risotto was creamy and flavorful, while the Fungi + Onions added an earthy, caramelized touch to the meal. The Jasmine Rice was a simple yet flavorful side that tied everything together beautifully. We paired our meals with White Sangria, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, not too tart. Every detail, from the ambiance to the presentation of the dishes, reflected the restaurant's dedication to excellence. Platea Miami is a must-visit for anyone looking for a premium dining experience in Pinecrest. We'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu!

What a find! The food is amazing as is the service. Love the atmosphere too. The only issue is that they don't have a full bar - Beer and Wine only which is a shame.

Went there to celebrate my son's 25th birthday and had requested a round table in advance. However, did not get the table we requested but sat against the window with bench seat and two seats across. The entire time the A/C was blowing down directly on our table making it very cold and when our food arrived, the food got cold before we could even finish it. They did not have the appetizer available that my son wanted to order nor did they have the wine in stock that we selected. Overall, the food was good but not sure I will go back for a while.

We have been to Platea a few times now and we love the consistency of their great service and amazing food. Also, the Caymus Sundays are great!

An outstanding experience all the way. Food was excellent, service professional and attentive and wine list extremely reasonable. We were visiting from Boston but our children and granddaughter will be returning soon,

It was my first time visiting Platea (Pinecrest, FL) and we had a great experience. Our server Adan was friendly and professional. I ordered the 32 oz Tomahawk Rib Eye, which had a different taste than your typical rib eye. The seasoning used is Peruvian-inspired and was tasty. I shared it with my wife because it was a good-sized portion. We also liked the truffle fries. They were light and crispy with that unmistakable truffle taste. For dessert, we had the chocolate ganache cake which was ok but we liked "The Garden" which is a cheese cake-inspired dessert. Its creamy and not too sweet and surprisingly they add micro greens (arugula) which gives it an even better taste. I highly recommend this place. John 3:16

Great food and with the Wednesday Prime Steak and Wine (no corkage fee) special the value was excellent. Only complaint is that they should keep the curtains closed so don’t look out over the adjacent bank drive-through with its bright lights. That is a real ambience killer.
