                                                                                                  There was no need to book, Wed lunchtime was not busy! We were welcomed to our table by a friendly waiter. We were handed the lunch menu,which offered a 2 course meal for £15 or a 3 course for £18. Great value, but we were told that we had to decide there & then if we wanted a 2 or 3 course meal. Opted for a 2 course, which eventually was served in tiffin tins,with poppadoms on the top tins and the rest of the food in the tins underneath. The food was OK, the waiter was attentive and the restaurant was clean. Not in a rush to go again, but it was OK.

                                                                                                  Food was wonderful and service well over attentive which is okay. Ambience was low as this being a hotel the restaurant doubles for the breakfast area in the morning’s. But worth the visit for the excellent food !!!

                                                                                                  Fabulous food, great flavours. The chaats packed s punch, wow! Delicious. The tandoori poussin was a meal for two in itself, served on spicy roast potatoes, and a small chicken, not a poussin, great flavours. The saag aloo wasn't your 'run of the mill' but lovely. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for Indian and not pseudo or anglicised Indian. The staff were very good, helpful, friendly and efficient.

                                                                                                  I went with a friend for dinner. It’s a hotel restaurant and was not very busy at all! But at least you could hear each other speaking. The waiters and waitresses were polite and attentive. We had the golgappa, chicken byriani, tarka daal and garlic naan. All very tasty, especially the byriani which was nearly as good as my mum’s! I would definitely go again.
