   Outstanding food. Very very good. Our server was Christian I believe and he was very attentive and friendly. We chose outdoor seating which is actually just covered seating outside the restaurant.

   Consistently excellent service, food, and cocktails. Started with their custom take on an old fashioned (Frankfort Ave High Fashion) to drink. Had their special salad (grilled romaine) and then a few shared pasta dishes. Everything was wonderful and will be back!

   Seems like they had issues last night . Four of us dined at 6:45 and everything, drinks, appetizer, dinner and dessert took a very long time to arrive. The food was a little off too. We had the calamari and it was good but took so long to get it. I had veal scallopini and the veal was luke warm at best and kind of an off putting color. I love veal, it tasted good but seemed off. The potatoes were hot, which I was grateful for. Mixed reviews on all 4 dinners. The bread was excellent and we had two baskets because it took so long to get dinner. The waiter offered dessert for two birthdays we were celebrating. Again we had to ask about it after waiting 15-20 minutes. We’ve dined at Porcini many times and this is not our normal experience. Maybe it was an off night, but with all the dining options in Louisville it will be a while before we return. I think if the server would have at least explained what was going on we would have been okay with it but no explanation. He would disappear for long periods of time. Strange experience for us at Porcini.

   Porcini had an excellent menu with good choices. The food was excellent as well. We enjoyed good service.

   My husband had 3 sales people in town - they loved the food - we had such a nice time! Rick Wardlow said to say “hi”. 😁We’ll be back.

   6 of us went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We ordered artichokes and calamari for appetizers. The entire table agreed the calamari rings were too fishy to eat. Some ate a couple of tentacles. I told the waitperson to tell the chef. Food was ok. Nothing remotely delicious We then ordered espressos and limoncellos. Limoncello was not chilled and espressos were lukewarm coffee in espresso cups. And we ordered 3 very expensive bottles of wine and a couple of cocktails . Bill comes and the inedible calamari is on there. I really want to like this place but it’s a joke. Several HUNDRED dollar meals should make you happy, not angry.

    Porcini is always an outstanding! The food is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and full of rich, authentic flavors. The Spinaci salad was delightful—fresh, well-balanced, and packed with flavor.
