Porthminster Kitchen serves up a refreshing, playful take on Cornish cuisine, introducing a menu of smaller plates and lighter options which combine global flavours, fresh local ingredients and creative cooking.

We have stripped out much of what is unnecessary; dairy and gluten take a backseat in favour of fresh and exciting textures and flavours.

Porthminster Kitchen enjoys awe-inspiring panoramic views from its location in the heart of St Ives. From your vantage point above the harbour, escape the hustle and bustle and relax on our sun-drenched terrace, or gaze out from huge windows and take in the 180° view.
We are dog friendly but have limited space for our furry friends please let us know when booking to avoid disappointment.

    With a wealth of amazing places to dine in St Ives, Porthminster Kitchen remain the easiest choice to make. The Sunday roast sets a bar hard to beat and when you combine with the amazing team and stunning views across the harbour, it makes for a superb way to spend your Sunday afternoon.

    Really excellent cooking of good ingredients, terrific service from friendly (but not *too* attentive) staff and a good location overlooking St Ives harbour.

    We enjoyed a fabulous meal, great location with views over the sea. Lovely cosy room with the fire lit, friendly staff

    Fantastic food and good menu choices - monkfish and prawn curry was amazing as were the scallops to start. Flexible accommodating allergies. good service. Excellent views.
