                    Food was great restaurant is very clean and presents Well -service was very nice but a little confusing because seemed to keep switching waiters. I didn’t know who to ask when our food was really delayed.

                    Another lovely evening at Portofino. The food was delicious and the service attentive and friendly. Some of us had the special veal dish which was fantastic while others had pastas which were also superb.

                    Service was good when we first sat down but food took a long time to come When the veal saltimbaca came , it had a thick glob of cheese on it - not a usual presentation and not great

                    We went for Valentine’s Day. Granted it’s the busiest day of the year and they were overwhelmed. The wait was too long (even to sit for our reservation). And it was over an hour before we got our single appetizer. Much longer for dinner. They were grossly understaffed and disorganized. But, the food was delicious and very flavorful. And after dinner (at 10 PM), the owner apologized and was courteous. The decor and lighting needs help too. I give it a C- for everything but the food. But I give it an A+ for the food and price. Therefore, I’ll come back again when it’s less crowded. I hope they do better and that the restaurant succeeds.
