Prelude Kitchen & Bar is Restaurant located in Downtown Sacramento that serves Modern American, Farm to Fork cuisine. Our Chefs work directly with local Sacramento Farmers to source local ingredients for each dish. We believe food and dining is more than sustenance, it's a connection between guests, chefs, farmers, and the nature that surrounds us. Our menu is crafted from scratch, ensuring that every bite resonates with exceptional taste, genuine flavor, and fine dining quality. Prelude Kitchen & Bar is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento next to the Crest Theater, Golden One Center, State Capitol, SAFE Credit Union Convention Center and Performing Arts Center.                                     Everything we had was amazing, the pork chop was off the hook. We also map had the whipped butternut squash bruschetta, spaetzle and porcini and smoked Gouda polenta. The drinks were also amazing. Perfect date night atmosphere

                                    We were seated back towards the kitchen and the noise level was a little loud for my taste. I appreciated the zero proof cocktail offerings as well as the crafted cocktails. Food was tasty and portions were sufficient. I'm very critical, so getting high marks means you have to go "above and beyond". Would I return, yes, but is it a restaurant that is one that I "must go to again"? Not necessarily. I prefer a quieter dining experience.

                                    Always a great experience when I dine here! The service is friendly and professional and the food never lets me down. Brought a friend here for her first visit and she was equally impressed. Continues to be on the top of my dining list.

                                    Had a great time with my girlfriend celebrating Valentine’s Day. Service was nice, food and prices were good. Had a nice romantic vibe to it.

                                    1st time in the restaurant. We would definitely comeback to try out the rest of the menu. Not sure if it was a fluke, the dry aged ribeye had great flavor, however the meat was cooked medium well to well done, when I asked for medium. Let’s see if they get it on Take #2! Jacob and the rest of the team on the floor were awesome.

                                    For $400 for two people, I expected the meal to be good enough to be memorable. It wasn't bad, but it certainly was not one I would go back to for that kind of money

                                    Wonderful meal and excellent service! Devon, my waiter, was right on top of everything and paced the meal nicely! Beet salad was nice and the sole with Meyers Lemon reduction was awesome! I would definitely try the restaurant again!
