Formally known as Limelight Supper Club, PRELUDE + POST is centrally located within the Denver Center for Performing Arts, it is a popular gathering place for theater attendees and downtown diners alike for pre-theater dinner and post theater dessert and night caps.
PRELUDE + POST server a contemporary American style menu for a social dining experience. Meaning all seating is community. Reservations guarantee seats, but not an exclusive table.

                                                        We have been to this restaurant dozens of times. The food has always been very good and the service has been great. Our recent experience was no different. Not sure you could find a better place to have dinner before the show.

                                                        So not worth it!!!! Pricey for food prepared long before it's served from under a heat lamp or pulled from a fridge. I had French onion soup which was basically beef broth and a sparse sprinkling of cheese. I also ordered a salad that clearly had been prepared hours before and stored in the fridge for quick service. Both were sadly low quality in presentation and completely lacked flavor. My friend had the short rib that was dry and clearly pulled from under a warming lamp. From ordering to table it was all of three minutes. Salt and pepper would have been a blessing but none to be found. That also speaks to service once food was delivered, we never heard from our server again.

                                                        Have been to P&P many times. Truffle/Parm fries have become a habit. The wait person was lovely and the food was very good. Something I noticed for the first time though, seating in the front room (my friend and I have usually been seated in the left side room) is very noisy. Trying to have a conversation over a high top is difficult. It’s hard to hear what’s being said, and we felt like we had to shout at each other during our dining experience.

                                                        Good quality with excellent execution of each dish. The menu is limited at this speciality venue, but has enough variety to work. Portions are just adequate. The service was good if a bit slow in the pre-show rush. A bit overpriced for the experience.

                                                        Unfortunately, on a nice cold evening, the chef made too little soup. Chef, read the weather forecast please. Good food, except some item have been removed from the menu. Who knows why.

                                                        Service is always wonderful. It just so happens this particular time I went. There was too much salt on my omelette. I just let them know that they got carried away with it. Normally, it’s very very good. This was not the usual quality.

                                                        Our waitress Rebecca was very helpful & knowledgeable. Our group of 5 was there all gathered for brunch before attending a performance. Prelude & Post is a special place.
