The Ambiance and service is always wonderful. I tried the fish tacos, new on the menu but I would stick to their older menu items. What they do best. The other guests with me enjoyed their pasta meals.

Have enjoyed Prime Seven Nine many times, but this time service was poor and fish full of bones. No reaction from the waitress when we expressed our concern

Hi Bruce, Sorry about the Fish, That particular Filet was cut by the fish Monger and he assures me that he will watch it with a closer eye moving forward, thank you for letting us know, I am sorry that there was some type of breakdown with our Server, I am always happy to discuss this further, thank you Sylvain

Dear Sylvain, I wanted to share feedback about a disappointing experience I recently had at Prime 79. While the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, our interaction with our server left us feeling quite dissatisfied. After our dinner plates were cleared, we were approached by our server and asked to move to the bar area so he could prepare the table for a party of 12. This request came abruptly, while we still had drinks and were considering sharing a dessert. To make matters worse, none of the incoming party had arrived yet. Had there been people waiting for a table, we would have gladly accommodated the request; however, the rush felt unnecessary and dismissive. When I expressed my concerns to the server, his response was aggressive and defensive, asking if he should involve the manager. I opted not to escalate the situation further, as I didn’t want to cause a scene, but the interaction left a sour impression. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for your guests. While I’ve enjoyed dining at Prime 79 in the past, this experience has made me hesitant to return anytime soon. I trust that steps can be taken to ensure all guests feel valued and respected, regardless of table turnover needs. Sincerely, Neil Boulton

Service from Amal was excellent, prompt and caring but never intrusive. Calamari to start was excellent- lightly crunchy with a perfect sauce. The Halibut special was beautifully cooked (large portion too) with a delicious sauce. Delightful wine too! And the mousse for dessert was perfect.
