Primi Italian Steakhouse, located on the South Shore of Long Island, has authentic Italian fare coupled with dry-aged prime steaks. Primi has been one of the leading restaurants to not only dine, but host an intimate and most delicious event! You may dine upstairs in our private room featuring a fireplace and long tables for an intimate affair; in our main dining room under the chandeliers with a speakeasy vibe and retro art design; or in front of our brick fireplace in the Lounge for a more relaxed feel and stimulating atmosphere, and lastly our outdoor Patio.
Our 18 seated Gally Bar is filled with the finest liquors, 2 flat screen t.v.'s, and our Wine Cases showcase and house some of the best wines in the World, along with all your favorites!
Guest favorites are our specialty...dry-aged steaks and classic Italian dishes!

We host many private events, such as, Baby and Bridal Showers, Retirement and Birthday Parties, Engagement and Rehearsal Dinners, just to name a few. Important dining information from the Restaurant Please note that due to high volume we will be serving a $125 Prix Fixe menu on Valentine's Day. This menu can be viewed on our website at Primiitalian.com Guests will be charged $25.00 per person if they no-show on a reservation. Guests will also be charged $25.00 per person if they cancel less than 72 hours before their reservation. Primi Italian has a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time. We may contact you about this reservation, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date. Excellent spot. Ambiance is excellent. Food was fantastic. Service was even better. Every single person I encountered made me feel welcome and had a positive vibe. From hostess to bartenders to servers to manager and ALL supporting members. Very impressive staff. Live music. Enjoyable. Not over the top. Bartenders were working their tails off. Manager was doing great job looking over every detai. I’m a foodie and a bit of a food and service snob. This place rocks! They understand hospitality and excel at it. Enjoy. Went with my wife for a date night on a Friday night for an early dinner. Table was ready when we arrived. We had the fried burrata for appetizer. Was excellent. We had the filet mignon and beef Wellington for entrees. They were both cooked to perfect requested temperature and tasty. Whipped potatoes and broccoli sides are confirmed delicious. Crème Brûlée for desert was more than enough to share and was off the charts. Heard good things about the brownie but didn’t try. Xo Go here. Don’t take my res spot though. :o)

Another fabulous meal and time. Aside from great food and friendly staff, I know this place is a go to gem on account I've noticed the same diners returning from time to time. Some whom I have become friendly with. A great quality in a restaurant that's overlooked. Highly recommend for first timers. Peter A

Excellent food and service. We were celebrating our anniversary which the waitress acknowledged by bringing us champagne. Everything we ordered was delicious and our waitress Griselda was fantastic.

We had a great time. The renew of the building came out beautiful. The service was outstanding. Very attentive to our needs and pleasant. I asked if a special could be altered and it was done. The food was delicious and came out hot. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and sad we left before the live music. Next time we will have to enjoy it. Yes a next time. I would recommend it. Great job!

Excellent food and amazingly attentive staff. They had a live band and it was fun, but if you want somewhere quiet, Friday night at Primi isn't it haha
