                        First time to Primrose. Our reservation was later for brunch. 1:00 PM. Our table was 1 of 2 during our visit. Food was tasty. Service was subpar. I had to ask for coffee and others in our party had to ask for juices. I expected more attention from staff although it was a Buffett. Our check was pre-paid with reservation along with gratuity. This may have had some issues from staff. Expectations were higher with it being a New Year’s Day brunch.

                        We bought tickets to the New Years Eve dinner which included a 20% gratuity. After being seated it took roughly 30 minutes for a server to come to our table and it was close to 45 minutes before we got drinks. Once the server went over the menu we were informed that one of the advertised choices (wagyu short ribs) was not being offered. This felt like false advertising. The table next to us was served a dish not even on the menu (steak) and we are still unsure how that happened since we were told the butternut steak was a vegetarian option. This experience felt like a missed opportunity for the resort and the restaurant. The food was good and server friendly but the experience was deceptive and definitely not worth it. I would not recommend or purchase again.

                        Bill was wrong. They did correct it. She crab soup smelled strongly indicating it should be thrown out. They did charge me for it. No vegetarian entrees. After insisting, the wait staff asked for an accommodation they provided one but the price was absurd. They did provide a free dessert because we were celebrating a birthday, which was nice. Desserts and entrees were good. But the refusal to substitute sides is a bit pretentious at a beach restaurant.

                        The restaurant is lovely the food is good. They were very understaffed for Christmas dinner. For a fine dining experience I didn’t feel that we received an experience that matched what The Henderson is going for.

                        We went for Christmas dinner. We were seated at our reservation time 7:15. After we were seated our way came by and introduced himself and we didn’t see him again for about 15 to 20 minutes. He then brought oysters without the fork to get them out. We then had to ask for silverware. We asked for salt and pepper, which was delivered as we were finishing our meals. At 9 o’clock, we were just finishing up. They were sweeping all around us and cleaning off the tables. It was very noisy. It is a beautiful restaurant and want to take time eating your meal. If you have to close, do not book reservations past a certain time.

                        We had a party of four and all of us were very disappointed with the Christmas brunch. The food was cold, nothing was even a little warm. The options were pretty much like any regular hotel buffet. And only cookies for dessert at $100 per person?! It was quite lame for such a sophisticated resort. We will not be revisiting.

                        The food was good but there were few buffet offerings and the dessert was just a platter of cookies. It was nothing special at $100 per person.

                        This was for the Christmas Brunch. Prime Rib was overcooked & cold. Ham was cold & turkey was cold. Mashed potatoes had a weird texture. In the add & tickets it said champagne included. After a couple of glasses we were told only 1 glass was included. The coffee was lousy also . Only dessert was cookies. All in all - one of the worst restaurant Christmas dinners we have had. The waiter was good and ambience good
