Atmosfera affascinante

Offering a 4 course tasting menu in the front dining room and a 7 course tasting menu in the communal chefs kitchen table. Service is provided entirely by the Rojas Family. The family will prepare the food from scratch, explain it and serve it. The menu showcases dishes of Michoacan, Mexico featuring both traditional and international ingredients, flair and flavors. Experience brought to you by chef Regino Rojas, multi time nominated chef for James Beard Award and numerous accolades all together. Purepecha was named Best Tasting Menu by D Magazine August 2024 issue, named Best Restaurant by D magazine December 2023 issue.

I wished there was more communication as to when to show up. You will not be let in until your designated time slot. And if the restaurant is running behind, there is no way of knowing until you’re turned away at the door. Overall the food was great, there just needs to be more communication on the restaurant’s part on arriving.

Imagine if you were invited to a close friend’s home on a cold saturday night after a rough week. You are craving some good, non-judgmental conversation, some laughs, a freshly cooked home meal, and to feel fully content in heart, belly, and mind. that’s what this experience was. topped off with a beautiful culinary and cultural tour of the best food from central Mexico. If you appreciate food, this is an experience you cannot ignore.

Great experience as always. This is our 4th time back and I am always impressed by the strong but balanced flavors Chef Rojas creates. The intricate plating and vibrant colors take the dishes to another level. Definitely a unique experience that should not be missed.

I have been planning to make time for this chef's table experience for a couple of years now, and it did not disappoint. Excellent meal, fabulous service, and the portions were generous, too, especially for a tasting menu!

Amazing 7 course dinner with each meal being perfectly cooked and curated! Highly recommend doing the chefs meal in the kitchen for a truly amazing experience!

Absolutely amazing! Kitchen table Chefs Tasting Menu was fantastic. You are in the kitchen as they prepare your meal, but that have created a much more “homey” style kitchen rather than the traditional commercial kitchen. The food and explanation of the menu as you eat is fantastic! The Mezcal selection is amazing as well. If you don’t rent out the whole table (8 guests I think) you will be seated with others which could be good or bad depending on your luck. I would rent out this table for a group in a heartbeat and enjoy a night of cocktails and amazing food. I will 1000% be going back. Maybe try the main dining room and traditional experience, but that will be hard since I know what the kitchen holds for its guests. I can tell why he won Beard Awards.
