Chef Brian Clevenger's second restaurant, located in the Junction in West Seattle, on California Ave just north of Genesee. The focus again is on fresh product, served simply. The menu is Italian inspired, and focuses on locally and sustainably-harvested produce and seafood

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Reservations for Raccolto have been put on hold through the week of August 14th. Due to a critical plumbing incident Raccolto will be closed for reservations until 8/14 to address remodeling and repair issues stemming from the incident.                                           Our latest visit to Raccallto was outstanding. Everything we had was just about perfect. Started with the roasted brussell sprouts and beet salad and both were excellent. The bread service was great, too, with a foccacia that had a crust on it like I've never had before -- in a very good way! We were almost stuffed after the first course! The pastas were incredibly well done. There was a mushroom agnolotti that was simply amazing. One of the best pastas I've had in years. We also had the tonnarelli and cavatelli, too. The tonnarelli was also stand-out. For proteins, we had the scallop and the pork belly. Both were cooked perfectly. I'm typically cautious about pork belly because it can come across as fatty, but this dish was rendered perfectly. Raccollto remains one of the best places to dine in West Seattle. My last visit was just so-so and it was the only time I had a less than a stellar visit. I provided feedback, and clearly they listen well, because they definitely NAILED every single dish. It was delightful.

                                          Great food. Server was good and attentive, but there seemed to be an insufficient number of servers, so we had to wait a few times. Minor issue with an otherwise excellent meal.

                                          Why do I keep returning to Raccolto when asked to choose the next dining location? Because it just gets better each time. I have never been disappointed nor at a loss for the next thing to try on the menu. The food is simply delicious with fabulous new twists and turns with ingredients that provide wonderful and unexpected results. And the staff couldn't be more affable and attentive. First class! I'll be back.

                                          The Chefs dining experience was phenomenal. So many amazing flavors by Chef Andrew. Wine pairings were perfect by our waitress Jenn. Wonderful dinner.

                                          The wait service at this great local Italian restaurant is the worst experience I have ever had! The food is great but the waiter had a horrible attitude and while we continued to take it in stride he announced that another waiter would be helping us without any explanation. It was bizarre and not sure what happened. We got a new waiter who was a bit better but when we paid the bill that we split theee ways he threw it on the table leaving us to sort. I eat out a lot and this was the worst! Not sure I would go here again which is too bad as it is in my neighborhood. Sad!
