It was fantastic, food was excellent and food presentation was great too. We were surprised by the complimentary “birthday cake” and the birthday singing band (the 3 waitresses)

The food and service were always fantastic; but the stair case is definitely the weakest link to become a great restaurant!

Fabulous! Spent my anniversary there and they took care of us really well! We got a free dessert and a polaroid photo, I did not expect them to do this at all! We will 100% be back.

This is our first time eating at Raisu and celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. Overall food was good and delicious. We were shocked by their surprise at last. Definitely will come back again.

Food is exceptional with reasonable price. Restaurant settings make us feel like we are in Japan. Staff are very friendly and good service. Towards the end staff came with a dessert which has written Happy Birthday on plate and sing the birthday song, that’s very warm and appreciated. We have a wonderful night and we definitely will visit again also recommend to friends.

The food was good, but it was a bit stuffy and crowded in the smaller room where there were four tables of people in total. Because there were many people in a small space, it was noisy. There was also a strong kitchen smell.

I have been Raisu lots of time since i live in Van, but this time experience really disappointed me, the dishes i had not reach a bit of their previous taste, especially the sashimi plates we had, feeling very unfresh.

There were 2 of us we shared the Ebi Fritters, the seafood element was shredded vs. served whole so the dish tasted mostly of batter. My friend had the SHO KA DO BENTO box that offers 9 appetizer size portion of their top dishes, she like it. I had the 16 piece Ocean Offerings, I found the rice was cold and compressed too hard, it was gummy and stiff to eat. Some of the fish was just ok, not terrible but not as fresh as I would have liked, however the Uni was superb. I had dined at the restaurant previously and the food was much better, perhaps this was on off day. On the positive side the service was prompt, attentive and very good
