From the same creative minds that brought the hit Kizuna Sushi Bistro to the suburbs, we proudly welcome you to Raiz Kitchen • Sushi Bar!

We were absolutely floored by the response to our Glen Ellyn restaurant that we knew we couldn't stop. The concept of high-quality fish, attentive customer service and a comfortable, groovy space worked so well. In our first adventure, we learned that the keys to success were passion and effort, and we promise to bring that same energy to every dish whether dine-in or carry-out.

                                                                                                                                    I went for happy hour.. delicious seaweed salad and both big sushi rolls were very fresh and delicious & sake. The wait staff were super friendly, attentive. The waiter even explained why they serve both Italian food and sushi! I appreciated that. I saw some of their non sushi items other people ordered and all of them looked really good, perhaps I’ll be back for some pasta or chicken parm! I’ll be back either way!

                                                                                                                                    Food was amazing. The specials were delicious- we ordered two. And we ordered two additional rolls for a party of two. We sat outside in the back and the noise level was low and could have great conversation. The service was a little slow to order drinks but the food came out fast. Would recommend.

The ambience on the back of the restaurant because of the decor is beautiful. The service was excellent - may they all get a raise!

Very slow service through out our time and it wasn’t busy. Needed to find the server twice. Food came out slow and there wasn’t communication from our server as to how long we were expected to wait.

                                                                                                                                    It’s a cute place with tasty food, but my only negative is how slow the bartender was. Both in just bringing us water and in bringing us drinks and checking back if we wanted a refill on anything. Otherwise, we fully enjoyed it!
