Ramerino Italian Prime Restaurant nestled on 16 East 39 street Midtown ,Strategically located steps away from Bryant Park, Empire State Building and NY Public Library. Restaurant designer Paul Vega founder of VLDG design who is known for his design with Rockwell Group helps emulate that Tuscan feel and experience throughout. Tuscan native Executive Chef Vilfrid Hodai is bringing his expertise in prime-cut meat, hand-made pasta and farm-fresh vegetables prepared in the classic fashion of Italian cuisine. Wait staff clearly wanted to give their best effort. My only suggestion would be to have them all stop “running around.” It stressed me out that there were too many people attending our table.. it seemed confusing. And every one of them were literally running around and bumping into one another. This place is beautiful and food was great. Maybe 2 people (max) attending a table and everyone just slow down to make it feel more relaxed.

Service was good, food was abysmal. Knew I was in for a trip when instead of bringing out garlic bread at the beginning for the table they gave us half a slice of white wonder bread. Foolishly ordered the filet mignon. Half of the steak was fat, only got a few actual edible bites out of it and it was very dry at that. Ridiculously overpriced for what I received

The food was subpar - the burrata was not creamy at all. For $65 I ordered the special ink pasta + lobster + shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked and dry and they only gave 4 or 5 pieces. They did not tell me I'd have to crack the lobster myself. For this price the dish was not up to the standard. Overall, I would not go back to this place.

One of the best experiences in New York, took a group of 10 to this establishment and they treated us with such respect and kindness. Blende, our server, was phenomenal and probably the best server we have ever had in New York. Food was amazing and priced reasonably well. We will definitely be eating here again.

This was suppose to be Italian but it is not real Italian food An Italian restaurant MUST have Prosecco wine , they were out of Prosecco and brought another generic sparkling wine By the way I’m Italian (born and raised there) so I know what I’m talking about.
