We arrived at the winery a few minutes late for our reservation and the greeter, seemingly the manager, was very helpful, as was the young lady that seated us in the patio. The location was very nice, the ambiance very pleasant. The problem was the assigned server, tall gentleman with long hair & a beard. He was very slow to get to our table to take our drink order. We saw him taking his time making conversation with a table of 5 young ladies. Then he spent a lot of time at the cash register counter near the back door. Then back to working the tables, which I think is pretty unsanitary in and of itself. When he was done he came to take our order. The food came out in a reasonable time and it was very good. I had a burger & my wife had pasta. The support staff (bussers) seemed to be helpful but it appeared they needed to have instruction from the servers or from the manager & assistant manager. It appeared that they were not doing tasks until they were asked to do so. Finally on the exit out toward the front door we passed the kitchen which has an open door and you get a direct view to the dishwashing station which is not a pleasant sight or aroma. I would recommend they keep that door closed. All in all the experience was good because of the food & wine. The biggest drawback was the serve and his slow service & bit of attitude. It is hard to feel bad about giving a minimum tip based on this kind of service. If a server is looking for 18-20% tip then they should learn to provide better service. Just my opinion.

I loved everything about the winery but the music was sometimes too loud to the point where I could not hear the rest of my party at times.

Our "go-to" restaurant for San Juan Capistrano. Excellent value and good wines.

Brought some family members here for the first time, and they absolutely loved it as much as we do. Great place, love the ambiance!!!

Door was fantastic! We had a bruschetta appetizer, plus hoops for lunch. Patio is a great place for dining and they keep it very controller weather conditions.

We sat at the bar and the service was amazing, the food was great. Steve was the bar person and he was friendly and attentive.

We were in SJC for a wedding on Saturday and was looking for a place to have brunch the next day. Came across this Winery that served brunch So we decided to try it. It was the best! A really cute outdoor dining patio with a fireplace. All of our food was excellent. We didn't drink any wine but the mimosas and bloody Mary's were awesome! We will definitely go back@
