Rapscallion & Co. is a mischievous and vibrant part
of Hamilton’s restaurant scene, dedicated to offering the city’s culinary
connoisseurs a full nose-to-tail experience. We offer a regularly changing,
meaty and creative menu in a laid-back setting. Our skilled and
passionate chefs do it all, whether it’s curing, salting, boning, stuffing,
wrapping, charring, braising, or just leaving the meat raw.
Above all, we love to prepare food that pushes boundaries and pulls you outside of your comfort zone — just a little bit. We get tremendous joy out of food and offer items that you are unlikely to find another local restaurants. While we love meat more than some people love their firstborn, we are always happy to accommodate those who don’t. Vegetarians and vegans are always welcome, options available by request.

    Enjoy Rap's Late Night Menu from 11 pm-1 am every Friday & Saturday night. Please note that our standard dinner menu is offered 5 pm to 11 pm; any bookings from 10:30 pm onwards will be provided the late-night menu. Late-night offerings, including Chicken and Waffles! Our always popular Whipped Feta, Chicken Liver Brulee, Steak Tartar, and Raphouse burger.

    Enjoy Rap's Appetizer Menu from 230pm to 430pm every day. Offerings include: Some of our guest's favourites. Such as Whipped Feta. Chicken Liver Brullee. Steak Tartar Avocado toast. and our Raphouse burger. Along with all beverage menus. The dinner menu starts at 5:00 pm Daily. Please note that Monday-Friday, our Lunch menu is only offered until 1130 am -2:00 pm Saturday-Sunday, our Brunch menu is only offered 10 am- 2:00 pm.

    Once again a great meal at Rap. And the staff are always so wonderful and loads of fun the chat with. The new version of the calamari is outstanding! Top notch as always.

    Great meal start to finish. Innovative dishes, full of flavour. Attentive friendly service, great atmosphere. Always a treat to go to Rapscallion.

    Each of our four dishes was interesting and prepared perfectly. I left with the intent to try some of the ideas in them at home. The server was also friendly, witty, informed, and attentive. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

    First visit, we enjoyed the Tuesday Date Night Prix Fixe menu... everything was devine. I wish Hamilton wasn't so far away but we will definitely be back!!

    We had an exceptional dining experience at Rapscallion, which explains its enduring popularity over 12 years. Opting for the chef's experience was a highlight, with ridiculously good food. Our server was highly professional, and this experience reinforced our view that Hamilton Downtown has the best growing food scene in Ontario. It’s the the morning after a wonderful evening and We have already recommended Rapscallion to our truest “foodie” and quality restaurant going friends. Thank you to the staff and chef for a memorable birthday dinner. We will be back!

    A pleasurable experience from beginning to end! Personalized service with the utmost care! I highly recommend visiting whether it is for a casual brunch or formal affair.

    We had our legal signing of our wedding here and the whole team were so accommodating and made us feel so special. Our waiter Connor was amazing!

    It was a very busy place when we arrived and took a few minutes to get seated (we had a reservation thankfully!) our service was outstanding… despite issues with their order entry system the server took his time and made jokes and checked in often. We had a very yummy breakfast (get the hashbrowns!!!) and enjoyed our time there. Looking forward to our next visit!
