    This was our first visit celebrating my husband's birthday. We had reservations, so no wait time. The restaurant was clean and appealing. Our food was served hot and timely. We shared the crabcakes as our entree. My husband had the Delmonico steak, I had the wedge salad, we shared the sweet potato dish which is excellent as well as sharing mac and cheese. I did not care for the mac and cheese because too used to my own! I also had the gumbo soup - EXCELLENT! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, polite, and personable. Overall, was a great experience.

    Theresa was very accommodating me and my guest for showing up late for my lunch reservation. As always, she is a great hostess granting and giving a warm welcome to Ray's in the City.

    In town for a sporting event, and stumbled on this restaurant based on Open Table reviews. It was open early afternoon before the game so it worked out perfectly. Some memorable dishes were the Brussels sprouts, crab cakes (one of the best we’ve ever had) as well as the horseradish crusted halibut. Steaks with side sauces were also tasty. You can’t go wrong with this fine establishment.

    The worst lunch I have ever had. Service was painfully slow. The waiter took forever to bring anything to the table. My husband asked 4 times before he received his soda. The waiter finally comes to take our order and declares that the restaurant has run out of buns so the whole hand held section of the menu could not be ordered. Was the majority of the lunch menu. I ordered a burger plain with just cheese and avocado. No bun was fine for me. It came with some strange slice of bread, onions, some awful sauce, lettuce, tomato, etc. Nobody's order was correct. I will never go back.

    Great food. Busy night but service not up to the standard. Salad came before appetizer. Sides trailed the steaks by 5 min. I have been here before, great place. Just don’t go on a night they are busy.

    Our server Chris was absolutely precious. He made my family and myself feel like royalty!! Driving from NC to celebrate my sisters birthday was absolutely worth it.
