We have eaten here many times over the years and really loved everything. Lastnight was an unbelievable let down.. Hot crab dip was served barely room temp then was charged $3 for 4 more crostinis.. The sweet tea was not sweet and was barley tea flavored. The red fish was actually delicious but the crab meat on top was full of shells and the potatoes under it were cold with peas that were so shriveled. I cannot tell you how many times our table was bumped into by servers. Plus and hour and ten minute wait between our appetizer being served and when the entree arrived. It was so loud you could not carry on a conversation. Then the bill arrives and you feel assaulted for such a sub par dining experience. Sadly, it has turned into a disgusting tourist trap.

Enjoyed our dining experience at RedFish last night however the musician outside playing in the street was excessively loud and right in front of the windows. I feel bad for the establishment because had we not had a reservation I would have quickly moved past it to a quieter location. Luckily we were seated in the back and could not hear it too much. Service and dinner was exceptional - loved the cornbread !!

Wonderful food and experience. We arrived early before the normal lunch rush. Service was excellent. Or course we had the bread puddling, which you order when you first meet your wait staff. It takes time to make.

Second visit. Location is perfect. It’s New Orleans so the competition regarding food is fierce. The food was pretty good but not the absolute best. I won’t count them out though. I’ll try it again.

Not what we expected…. The crab dip was more cheese than crab and the toast they serve it with was very hard and difficult to chew. The server made comments about items on the menu that seemed inappropriate and we were just turned off by the whole experience. It was not a “New Orleans” feel so we left and had dinner at Felix’s a block away.

Frank was an outstanding and informative waiter. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Redfish, etoufee and Cajun pasta were all delicious. Much better than I anticipated. Would recommend
